We all wish our lives could be easier, simpler. Sometimes it can be, but most of the time life is busy, always on the run: To do lists, shopping lists, reminders – and it never seems to end.
For most people, there’s work besides family, responsibilities and whatever else we may add to our daily routines and check lists. For instance: school, gym, exercise classes, Martial Arts, yoga or any other sport or activity.
Too many times we fill our days and our calendars so much that we forget to relax, we forget to slow down and we forget about ourselves; our dreams, aspirations and either or both our current and future goals and desires. They get put on hold while we continue to run, to make our lists, work and study to reach our dreams. We neglect to see wherein that process we are to reach out and touch our dreams. As we constantly are working towards them and neglecting to reach out and grab hold of our finished product.
I can be just as guilty of this as many others as well; I have been in the past. For myself, I fill my days with work, family home and lists, responsibilities and school. I have P.O.T.S. (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), which can and for myself – includes chronic fatigue as-well-as both short-term and long-term memory issues, which I will talk about later. So throw this on top and there isn’t enough time in an entire week to feel like you’ve accomplished much let alone find time to relax, but somehow I do!
I continually create time for myself, to relax, to enjoy my hobbies and remember to live life regardless of the syndrome and always laugh, not just survive and muddle through. I do a good job of juggling work, home and school while being able to both manage the P.O.T.S. and slow down my life and live it smiling and happy regardless of what is thrown at me.
My tricks and routines, my trials and errors, and my accomplishments to living a simpler, easier life, regardless of how full my plate seems, is what I wish to share with you. I have created more free time. Juggling all that life throws at me, while managing my P.O.T.S. and chronic fatigue. I have some organizational skills I utilize, routines I keep, a small garden I love to maintain and use, herbs I found that really help and hobbies and activities I really enjoy which adds to my happiness and accomplishments.
Whether you feel bogged down by life’s busy schedule, fatigue, medical conditions, self-neglect or simply want tips to make your life simpler and more relaxed… perhaps this blog and its contents can help you find answers and reach your goals. Perhaps you will have some you wish share.
Let’s create and live a happier and simpler life regardless of what life throws at us – together!
